Ask for an Rx, that should hopefully help tone it down a bit!

I think I had simultaneous hb and nausea in my first tri. Then, I mysteriously went back to puking in my third trimester. OB said it was the acid. Always had my Tums! Also, look up what foods cause HB and avoid them.

Ask for an Rx. Nexium is my lifesaver though, come 3rd tri, TUMS are my friend again, too).

I went right from nausea to bad reflux that I thought was still morning sickness. It wasn't until I was 20 weeks and complaining about the symptoms to the midwife that she put it together as reflux and told me to try a daily prilosec, which saved me from many more months of misery.

Mine wasn't as severe, but as soon as my M/S and nausea ended, it was replaced with morning/day heartburn :(

I used tums and just eating in general to get past it, so if there's a cure, I'd love to know too!

I didn't get nausea/morning sickness until late in my first trimester (probably 14w) now at 21w that has morphed directly into getting heartburn from everything. I eat tons of TUMS but they don't even help most times. I plan to ask OB at next appointment about other options.

Anyone else experience this?
