He's only getting 1ml/hour, and then after five days of that they'll increase it. In other good news the nurses haven't suctioned him out in three days, which means he's swallowing his own spit, which is promising for him starting oral feedings! Totally off oxygen support and morphine now, they're just waiting for his antibiotics to finish before trying to give him food Thursday. Hopefully that goes smoothly and they can do the reconnection surgery in about two weeks.
