Something semi-neutral that can be worn over anything. Pants with a thin layer of fleece are good. Socks -- baby socks always go missing, but are a must for cooler months when you go out. She and her husband only had a day's notice that they were getting her, so they don't have very much in terms of clothes. I'd like to get her some fall/winter clothes. We live in Houston, so it never gets super cold (and never snows) but I was thinking a couple of good sweaters or a lightweight jacket. I'd like it to be something she can get a lot of use out of and that holds up well. I was thinking maybe something from Baby Gap because I've heard their clothes are good quality. Is there anything you'd suggest? What are some of your favorite fall/winter essentials? </p>
