This happened to me last year. It was so bizarre. It was as if our mail was being stock piled somewhere because we received EVERYTHING that had been sent from late Nov until late Dec on Dec 22nd!!! Including the Christmas cards that I ordered from Shutterfly.

I contacted Shutterfly and they replaced the order. It took a few days for them to ship out, so I'd contact them ASAP.

Thank you all! I think I'll wait till Wednesday and then contact Shutterfly asking for a replacement order.
Almost all of my neighbors were in their front yards this weekend so I think if they had the package they would have brought it over and the one who wasn't home, I checked his front porch and there was nothing there.
@regberadaisy: I agree USPS doesn't seem to want to be helpful at all. It was like dealing with the cable company trying to get a hold of someone there and when I finally got through he wanted to rush me off the phone. I would be so upset if they lost the gifts I was sending to family/friends.

I'd check with your neighbors in case it was delivered there by mistake! Then I'd call shutterfly.

I would talk to shutter fly. USPS isn't going to do squat for you. A few years back they lost ALL of my niece and nephews Christmas presents. Months of emails, phone calls and nothing ever came of it.

I have had this happen a few times, and I always deal with the sender. In Canada, the person who sends it is able to open an investigation with Canada Post, and if they are unable to track the package, the sender can work out a settlement. In the meantime, I have always had good response from companies ready to replace my lost goods.

I have had this happen twice- once, the post office just totally lost it. The company ended up shipping me a replacement for free since I never got it (but it was jewelry (not $$$$ or anything) not personalized stuff.

And I've also had the usps mark something as delivered then deliver it a few days later. I bet that will happen for this- I'd give it until tomorrow maybe and see if it shows up. If it never does I bet shutterfly would reprint and ship. USPS just lies about the delivery it seems and it's really annoying.

I would speak with Shutterfly's customer service and explain. I'm sure they deal with this a lot. I would be very mad because no one steals Shutterfly packages, they go for the big boxes!

Have you ever ordered something online and had the mail carrier say they delivered it to you only never to receive it?
Unfortunately I think this is happening with our Thanksgiving cards that we ordered from Shutterfly. Shutterfly sent the tracking info to me when they shipped the package - it started as a UPS package but then transferred to USPS. USPS said they delivered it on Thursday right before I got home. I got the mail but no package. I called USPS on Saturday and spoke with the local office today and all they can say is the carrier said he delivered it to our front porch. We receive packages all the time and this has never happened. To my knowledge we don't have a lot of theft in my neighborhood and I can't imagine anyone taking a Shutterfly package.
Would you ask Shutterfly for a refund or an electronic copy of the card to be able to at least share it on social media or email it to whoever was going to receive it in the mail? Or do you think there really isn't anything that can be done at this point?
