1. I baby wore around the house a lot with LO1. I imagine that I'll do the same with #2.

2. If she fell asleep in the carrier, it was worth it to me to keep wearing her. She wasn't one to sleep anywhere else, though.

3. Some carriers are cooler. Some people use things called Frogg Toggs (I think... the name is similar to that). It's like a cooling pad.

4. We used a rolled up blanket instead of the infant insert. I hated the infant insert in the Ergo.

5. You can also roll up the tail of the RS and then tuck it under the top rail to make a little pillow. It would support his head but uncover the face.

6. Don't know. Never used a Moby.

7. I did like the Butterfly II. I thought it was a great carrier and really helpful in getting comfortable with back carries. It fit LO better from an earlier age than the Ergo did. I would definitely try to figure it out.

8. I haven't worn LO in the past 6 months because my belly is incredibly sensitive this pregnancy. I don't know how she would take it now (27 months), but would probably be okay if we were out and about and she was on my back.

1. I used to wear around the house more when I was on mat leave and DD was less able to occupy herself. I imagine when #2 arrived, I'll be wearing a ton at home.

2. If DD fell asleep in a carrier I'd just keep her in there until she woke up. She was difficult with transitions so she'd wake if I took her off anyway.

3. There are some carriers that have more breathable fabrics. Linen wraps are cooler. The Moby is insanely hot.

4. I think the blanket ergo trick is just as safe.

5. I haven't worn a newborn in a ring skiing so I can't answer. Hopefully someone else chimes in.

6.I did kangaroo both ways. At home if be shirtless and she'd be in a diaper against my chest. When we were on the go I'd wear her in the pocket for extra protection.

7. I've heard good things but haven't tried the bravo. I know they have a narrower seat so can't be used as long as an ergo, but the cross straps look comfy.

8. I didn't wear DD for a few months because we didn't need to but have started again this month. I wear her every morning and haven't had a problem with her. She's extra snuggly now when being worn which is nice.

@travellingbee: yeah I don't want to force it because it doesn't seem like something that needs to happen. But so far the main benefit is when we are on a walk since we don't have a double stroller. But if it's so great and helpful I want to figure out why!

Oh gosh I had all these questions and ended up giving up on it. DS just didn't take to it. I'll try again with number 2, hopefully. Good luck making it work for you!

I feel like a baby wearing idiot. :-) Evertone says it's the key to having two under two but I always feel like I'm not doing it right!

Here are my million questions:

1. Do you BW around the house? I feel like I'm always bending down and getting up and down with the toddler so it's kinda hard.

2. Do you BW when baby is asleep, or put them down? Is it still beneficial for bonding if they are asleep? He sleeps so easily why worn, but I feel like it's easier if he is just in the bouncer.

3. Any tips for hot sweaty babies? We call LO the space heater. He is always hot and sweaty. I feel bad carrying him some days.

4. Is putting a blanket in the ergo instead of using the carrier safe?

5. When I have LO in the ring sling, I feel like when I tighten the top rail to support his head, his face is covered too much. Is the pocket too deep?

6. When you do the newborn kangaroo carry in the moby, do they go in the pocket or skin to skin?

7. I have a becco butterfly 2. Do you like it? Is it worth learning?

I know that's a lot of carriers for someone who is clueless. But they were all gifts or hand me downs.

8. Has anyone reintroduced being carried with a toddler? I stopped when my belly got big. Last time he was worn was a back carry in the ergo and my ILs freaked out because he kept leaning his head back to eat his cracker and they thought he was too uncomfortable.
