We switched back to pampers and had no problem. ALso make sure this skin is 100% dry before putting the diaper on. this means letting him "chill out" on the diaper changing table for an addition 2-3 minutes to air dry. When he was younger, like 2 months - 6 months, we had to put it on at every diaper change. If we missed it one time, back the redness would come. When I switched away from Pampers wipes, to reusable cloth it helped a lot. Plus coconut oil. Of course this all happened when I switched from Swadlers to Baby Dry diapers. They don't feel "slippery" like normal wipes, like you can tell there isn't any soap or whatever on them, so they might take a little getting used to, but I think they do the job just fine. We use the swaddlers, but I've been toying with the idea of switching - people like how the Honest diapers fit. I think he is more irritated there by rides in his car seat than by his diapers and wipes (we use huggies natural/sensitive at home and MIL has different huggies). The only thing that helps C is using his prescription cream + Aquaphor.
