My LO went through a similar phase. He also doesn't cry when hungry and I was only able to get about 17 oz. in him a day in 3-4 oz per feeding. I experimented with spacing feedings out to 4 hours instead of 3 and he ate more at each feeding which resulted in an increased total intake over the day.

The same thing happened to us around 7 months. Our problem was that LO needed to cut down to two naps and once we did that things straightened out. Hopefully it's just a phase for your LO!

so for the last 6 weeks its been such a struggle to get P to eat. he use to have a great appetite. he's 7 months old and was taken about 30-35 ounces of formula a day. now were lucky if we get 20 ounces in him. sometimes we get less. he doesnt want to eat and when we try to get him to, he locks his lips. we offer bottles all day otherwise he iwll not cry to eat. he was previously sleeping through the night but now is waking up at night to eat 2-3 times a night but will only eat an ounce. (to get up to 20 ounces, i count these feedings also) i do think he is hungry at night though bc he will not go back to sleep unless he gets that ounce or two in him. me and the hubby are exhausted! the peditrition said as long as he is getting 17 ounces a day then he is getting enough but it still doesnt feel like he is eating enough since he use to eat a lot more.. (he is on solids but doesnt eat alot)
any tips on how to get him to eat more and sleep better?
