Update... my first beta was 65. The nurse said it is a little low, but it may still be very early, so I am going back for another beta and we'll see if it's doubling. I am not exactly sure when I ovulated -it may have been later than I thought. I don't know. Soooo, I am trying not to freak out/get my hopes up until I get my 2nd beta results. Still having a lot of cramping. The nurse said my progesterone was great (30.6?).

Congrats! I had a lot of cramping before my BFP, I swear I thought I was getting my period. I actually had cramping that felt like my period was coming all the way to week 7.

@MrsADS: My second successful pregnancy also involved tons of cramping. I think I had cramping off and on until week 7 or so. I definitely didn't have that with my first successful pregnancy (or my two intervening first trimester losses between those successful pregnancies). I was told cramping is normal but obviously it worried the heck out of me coming off of two consecutive losses.

@MrsADS: I had a lot of cramping very early in my second (successful) pregnancy. It felt like my normal PMS cramps, which can be pretty significant. It prevented me from testing early, because I was so sure my period was coming, and it was so unlike early on in my first pregnancy when I had none of my normal PMS symptoms.

@sweetiepie thank you so much  it's so nice that you understand how I'm feeling. It's a weird feeling, ha. We had to go to a RE and do IUI/Clomid to get baby #1 (not the same as IVF, I know!) but I just assumed it would be similar if we tried for baby 2... guess not. Lol. It's a good thing, like you said I feel like the stress of having to decide whether to try for another one is now gone, the decision is made for me!

@MrsADS: Yeah, I never had baby fever either for this one. I always said to my husband "I wish we could just throw caution to the wind and have unprotected sex and just see what happens" so that I didn't have to make such a hard and fast decision about this. So definitely consider yourself lucky in that respect! I literally tortured myself for about a year, whether to call my RE or not. It was hard to do something that I didn't feel totally confident about, let alone something pretty unenjoyable to boot (ivf). At least if we could have just had sex ntnp it would have been fun :silly:
But anyways, this may be a big blessing in disguise for you - I hope it's a boring, uneventful pregnancy and an easy breezy baby.

Thanks all. @sweetiepie thanks, I totally feel the same way. Like in the long run, I want another, but the thought of going through it all again is really overwhelming. I don't have baby fever at all. I had a complicated first pregnancy with preterm labor and then the first year was just so awful with colic, reflux, not sleeping ever, etc. and I think I probably had undiagnosed/untreated ppd. I'm actually glad (if I am pregnant) that it worked out this way - it's like the decision was taken out of my hands, which is better! Lol.

Definitely positive on that wondfo!
I also really didn't feel convinced that I wanted another (and I even did IVF!) but now at 14 weeks I'm coming around to the idea. It's not like I didn't/don't want another, I'm just terrified because my first go round was HARD. But in the end I know that I won't regret having another, but I may regret it if I don't (and it was because of my own decision).
Good luck!

Thanks all. I'm trying not to freak out. My husband thinks it's not a positive, so if it is a :bfp: , I guess I will have to wait a few days to get a darker one to convince him. I am thinking I ovulated later than I thought. I'm also having some mild period-like cramping today, so I don't know what that means.

I guess I knew this was possible (ntnp) but really, really, really did not think it would happen. My husband was still trying to talk me into trying for #2.
