I spoke to two teachers yesterday afternoon (the teacher getting married is generally a morning shift)...the plan is:</p> <p>Tuesday before her wedding I'm going to bring in Cake - they'll have a little thing for the kids in the afternoon. The kids are going to sing "Going to the Chapel" as a little production. You can take quick videos of each kid talking about their teacher and what they like about her (I am assuming its a she) on your phone and splice them together and upload to a YouTube video. I think software like iMovie makes it pretty easy, or maybe there is a more tech savvy parent that can do it. Maybe you can ask funny questions like do you know what a wedding is, or do you think Miss So and So would look pretty in a dress, or whatever. I'd prefer it be some cute/sentimental as opposed to expensive 1) I dont know how many parents will contribute and 2) I think sentimental stuff is better anyways.</p> <p>Does anyone have any killer ideas? unfortunately with how tight the classrooms are in the summer it will be hard for me to get support from the other teachers but I am sure I could get another Mom or two to come in and help me with something... </p>
