So I had 12 pairs all together and I was washing them once a week. I would use one during the day and one at night. It will just depend on how much you leak. I eventually stopped leaking all together around 3-4 months pp. I wouldn't buy too many in case you don't like them. Or just have some disposable ones on hand to begin with. I never had any bleeding though... I just kept them really oiled up after every feeding. I wasn't worried about DD ingesting so much of it, as I would with other topical creams. I had to take a medication for the yeast infection, but the cracks healed within a couple days. I would just get one box to see how you like it. I hated the disposable pads. Too itchy. Nipple shield, I wouldn't buy until you need one, and they might have them at the hospital. Milkies I didn't buy/didn't need. </p> <p>A lot of this stuff is available at drugstores/pharmacies, so I wouldn't worry too much about stocking up before baby comes, in case you find that you have preferences for one thing over another. </p>
