I picked a color scheme of turquoise, orange, fuchsia, purple and red. I made individual pinatas for each guest with stripes in those colors, put their favors inside, and put them at each place setting to decorate. I used turquoise bandanas for cloth napkins and bought cheap silverware and dipped their handles in those colored paints to create stripes. I also made fringed banners from tissue paper and a banner that had engagement photos trimmed with matching fringe. There's a lot of Cinco de Mayo party inspiration that could be adapted too. Depending on time and season, a Mexican hot chocolate bar would be fun.
