I also use Shutterfly, but so far, I've only done books as gifts. I've also done some comparing recently to see what else is out there that isn't so expensive - I want to make a few books of our vacations throughout the years and I want them to be the same quality/size.

After comparing prices, I think I'll stick to Shutterfly/Tiny Print (since Shutterfly bought them out). They've been around for awhile and I can count on them being there for when I decide to make more albums.

I've used Blurb a couple of times and I used to really like their quality and customer service. This last time, though, I was VERY disappointed because their printing wasn't consistent and they were severely lacking great customer service. It's more pricey, but I will probably try mpix next time because I've been thrilled with some prints I used them for more recently.

I've used Snapfish for the past three photobooks, and they've turned out surprisingly well. Shipping is higher than I thought, but considering the Buy 1 Get 2 free deal it wasn't so bad. I want to try My Publisher for my next one though.

I used mix book for our wedding album and I love it! They were reasonably priced, good quality, and you have the ability to pretty much customize it any way you want. I plan to use them again for a baby book.

I also used blurb for all our wedding albums...smaller parent and grandparevt albums and a big one for us. The paper quality was really good and i really liked the ability to fully customize each page so it was exactly what i wanted. Of course, that made it time consuming. I have used shutterfly for quick projects and been happy with it, but i prefer blurb for the overall quality.

I've used Blurb and MyPublisher. I love Blurb because they have the imagewrap hardcovers. MyPublisher has better quality images, tho, IMO.

I've used Shutterfly (1x), MyPublisher (4x) and Blurb (~10x). Overall, I like the quality and layouts of MyPublisher the best, but it's also the most expensive, even with their frequent coupons and promotions. I use Blurb the most often since I like their combination of quality and pricing.

I love Adoramapix. The books are printed on photo paper instead of press printed. They lay flat and don't have a gutter. They're a little pricier than a lot of other books, but I think the quality is worth it for special pictures. The one con is that they aren't as flexible with the number of pages. Of the press printed books I've made (Kodak gallery, mpix, blurb, my publisher, shutterfly), I think My Publisher is the best, but that's just my personal preference.

i've used blurb, kodak gallery, costco and shutterfly....they were all pretty decent except costco. i usually like costco quality but the photo book had weird colors and blurry quality.

I use My Publisher for all of our books. I think their program is really easy to use and the quality is great. They always seem to have a coupon to use as well. The only downside is there is a 100 page limit.

I made mpix wedding books for our parents after our wedding. They were really great quality and the pages were thick and laid flat, which was nice. The sky was also the limit as you could make your own templates/photos and just upload everything once you were ready.

The cons though were that they were kind of pricey and you couldn't have photos that spanned two pages because there was a border.

http://www.mpix.com/products/photobooks/photoalbums

That's the option we did, with the leather cover and the inscription. Beautiful book, but it'll probably depend on how much you want to spend and what you're looking for specifically.

I was really happy with mpix, but I think next time I'd want to be able to have photos span two pages and also have a photo on the cover/binding.

I have a bunch of photos that I want to put into a photo book! I can't decide and have never done one before so I don't know the quality. Does anyone have a preference from experience? I'm thinking blurb, picaboo, mix book, mpix?

I'm looking for a better quality one. Thanks!!
