@MrsH: Agreed....I live in Central FL and rely on layers. Sweaters are key. I would also pack a hat/mittens and tights. It was a high of 40 the other day and while that isn't the norm, it is possible and does normally get chilly at night.

On 'chilly' days R wears a SS onsie, LS onsie, and heavy sweater on top...then tights and leggings/pants on bottom...hat and mittens if needed.

I haven't been in capris but as long as you've got good layers it should be fine.

I'd pack a heavier sweater. FL in winter can get cold when the sun sets.

We frequently travel to FL but have never been down in January. We leave in a week and I'm still stumped as to what to pack for DD. We will be there for 12 days and are staying in our vacation house near Tampa. This is what I have packed so far.
2 Capris
2 Pants
2 Leggings
1 Jeggings
3 Summer tops
2 Light sweaters
2 3/4 Sleeve length tops
2 Dresses
3 Long sleeve onsies for layering
2 pairs Fall Boots
1 pair Mary Jane style shoes
1 pair Robeez
1 Fall Jacket

Does this seem like a good variety of clothing? I know the weather is sort of random in January and I want to be prepared for any weather we may encounter.
