@regberadaisy: Okie, I'll try that for fun! He usually tends to play around in his crib if I put him down too early though. We shall see! =P

@cranberryapple: yup. My LO usually takes her first nap on the weekends anywhere between 8:30-9:30 depending on her mood. So if I need to be somewhere then I will put her down at 8:30 for her nap. In your case I might try 9:00.

@regberadaisy: Oh, you mean like put him down for his nap earlier? I can certainly try! There aren't many places we need to be so we've rarely cut any sleeping short, so I forget how he is afterwards. I do know when I wake him up, he is cranky/cry-y at that very moment.

I would do the same as @regberadaisy:. LO is one that needs to wake up on her own terms...

@cranberryapple: Can you put him down a little earlier? That's what I usually do if we need to be out by X time before she generally wakes up. I find if I cut her morning nap short she is cranky the rest of the day! But that's just my LO. ;)

@regberadaisy: He usually naps for 1.5 hours. :) He has been doing some two hour naps lately too in the morning, but then skipping his second nap entirely for the past two days. Weird.

@MsLipGloss: Ooooh, this sounds good. :)

I would probably opt to cut his nap short . . . you can always adjust the other naps during the day to compensate (move them up a bit . . . or move up bed time a bit).

How long does he usually nap for?

So, we need to be out the door at 10:30AM, and LO normally wakes up at 7, which means his morning nap starts around 9:30-ish. To accommodate for this outing, should I wake him up earlier from his night sleep or cut his morning nap short? So confuzzled!
