Hey mammabare, did you try dr Gordon's method and if so did it work? I'm thinking I'd like to try this.

Thanks! Checked out Dr Gordon's method. We will have to modify a little to make it make sense with my husbands work schedule but it seems like exactly what I have been looking for!

Dr Jay Gordon has a wonderful gentle night weaning method for cosleepers. It hasn't worked for us but I have heard many say it has for them. Google it and see. Best of luck. I feel your pain.

Honestly, I'm not sure you'll have much luck while you're still co-sleeping. I hope someone else has better advice for you, but my first piece of advice would be to put him in another room!

My 12 month old son currently sleeps with us at night. He eats pretty well at least twice a day. the third meal is always hit or miss. Either he will have a great breakfast and dinner or a great breakfast and lunch with a series of snacks and breast milk throughout the day. He still wakes up every 2-3 hours most nights. Cry it out, no cry sleep training did not work for us. No cry turned into cry and I really couldn't hold it together for cry it out. I have been able to nurse him back to sleep fairly quickly. However, he goes to bed before either my husband or I are ready to turn in on some nights. So I'm hoping that by night weaning he will stop waking so much to nurse. Any advice, suggestions, or thoughts are welcome!
