I echo the other person's sentiment about leaving bulky things in the car. I have a big canvas tote bag in the car that contains several things I always want on hand "in case" but I don't want to carry around every single day in the diaper bag. These include: extra changes of clothes, a whole separate diaper changing kit stocked with diapers and wipes, a clip-on high chair seat, one of those tabletop covers, and for a while my shopping cart cover and high chair cover were in there (I got rid of them). We also had a separate "potty bag" when my son was potty training that included the potty seat that goes on top of toilets, antibacterial wipes, flushable wipes, more extra clothes/undies, etc. </p> <p>I make it a general rule that if I don't use it on a daily basis, it doesn't go in my diaper bag. I have to do this because I'm a huge overpacker. When I'm with both kids all day, my diaper bag is CRAZY full and heavy. </p> <p>When I was reading your requirements, the Ju Ju Be line came to mind immediately because of the cleanability of it as well as how light the bags are. With all that stuff, you don't need a bulky, heavy bag that only adds to the weight on your shoulders. Also, they have pockets and lots of room, and you can buy the extra zippered bags for wet bags, etc. </p> <p>It is a HUGE pet peeve of mine that there isn't one good store to go and look at all good diaper bags. I live in a big city and in order to see all the bags I want to see, I'd probably have to drive to every baby boutique in town. And even then I still wouldn't get my hands on every bag I'm interested in. </p> <p>If I were you I'd narrow my choices down to a few and order from places that have free shipping and free returns. Then, once I've chosen the bag, I'd return them all and look for the best deal. Amazon Warehouse, nobetterdeal, babyearth open box are all good places to look. You guys know what's cool and hip!<br /> Said diaper bag will need to be roomy enough for a change of clothes each for 3 kids, cloth diapers for 2 kids, various nursing, SNS, and probably bottle-feeding stuff for one, plus all the other stuff babies need. So it's going to need several main pockets, not just one big one where everything becomes a tangled mess at the bottom. And preferably not look like the small suitcase-sized Lands End diaper bag that my mom had in the 90s.<br /> Help? </p>
