I went to the medical office to take an "official" pregnancy test but this was at the end of the day and I had a lot of water by then. The nurse told me, "it's positive, but it's very light..." and I thought, does that make me less pregnant?! I was already 18DPO at the time and my test at home was almost as dark as the control line! The nurse totally freaked me out by coming into the exam room after she first looked at my test and saying, "Are you SURE you got a positive on your HPT?" </p> <p>Why don't they get with the times?! Of course it was just a couple minutes after that that she took my blood pressure and pulse and they were a little elevated and I wanted to be like, "Um, you just told me you thought I wasn't pregnant when I'm here for a prenatal appointment. I had 3 positive HPT tests, went to my doctor, did a urine test, and it came out negative. I had drank a TON of water and it was super diluted. When she told me I freaked out, ran home and did another HPT which came out positive yet again.
