Just friendly small talk when we are outside at the same time. ETA: The only people we have talked to are 2 women. I would tell them you plan to call the cops if ONE more butt is in your yard. Just so y'all have a picture of how it's laid out. We have been finding cigarette butts, empty packs, and just today a cigar stub in our backyard on one side of the yard. The first 3 times, we threw them back over to see if it would stop. Well, it didn't. </p> <p>So the 4th time we found them, my DH went over and knocked on their door and no one answered. So I wrote them a note telling them to tell their friends that the space over the fence is not a trash can and that we would appreciate it if they would stop. </p> <p>This morning, we found more butts. This afternoon we found another empty back and the cigar stub! I am really getting pissed off at this point and I'm planning on sending my DH over tomorrow to see if they will talk with us. </p> <p>Anybody have any ideas on what else we could do? I've heard from other neighbors that our HOA rep for our neighborhood sucks and doesn't really help/is hard to get a hold of, so I'm skeptical on going that route. Would the cops be able to do anything?</p> <p>I'm so frustrated! </p>
