Papa is pretty quiet (we've tried bonding with him several times without much return). We had a few days of terrible trapped wind which meant DD cried for several hours in the evening or at night. I almost went insane, I was so stressed. It happens to some babies, but it isn't the norm for sure. My baby never cried, except when she had a specific need. Taking care of the need fixed her crying. That's the best case scenario, certainly, and I'd say it's about as likely as constant crying. I read that 20% are colicky! Mine wasn't colicky but still cried for hours a day...I'm hoping for a less fussy newborn whenever we do this again!! </p>
