Totally! i'm not concerned about the mobiles because they attach to the crib and bassinet. I wanted to do a bunting over the crib but now am re-thinking it. Especially for the hot and humid summers when things tend to fall off the walls if they're not nailed in tight.

I painted an alphabet over the crib and we used a mobile until LO could reach up and pull on the animals. We took that down, not a moment too soon!

We had a fisher price mobile (which RJ LOVED, can't wait to use it again for the next baby!) that attached to the side of the crib. When we sleep trained at 4 months, we took it away. We also have the video monitor camera mounted high on the wall above his crib. I don't worry too much about that because I think if it fell, the fall would be broken by the top of the back wall of the crib. It might bonk him though.

Other than that, we have nothing hanging on the walls around his crib.

Yep, I would be. I think this is why lots of people choose to use decals! :)

i was kind of paranoid about this. we live in earthquake country and LO is super super active, so i just never felt comfortable about hanging things above his crib. it would be probably be fine, but i just never did it.
