I saw both MIL and FIL 5 times the following week and they did not say a word to me about the baby - did not congratulate me, ask how I was feeling, nothing. So I naturally assumed that they weren't happy about things, but as it turns out they just forgot and have now reassured me they are over the moon. Congrats. They are wonderful, but my MIL can be overbearing and judgemental. My husband is just finishing up his APT in preparation for graduating with his second degree, and is hoping to get a job teaching right away. We're not financially stable, and I am terrified that she won't be happy about this baby. </p> <p>I was nervous to tell them the first time, but they were overjoyed, so I'm not sure why I'm so afraid. </p> <p>Help!
