@LadyDi: I love pinch of yum! Such a great resource for lots of great ideas.

I also like using hello fresh recipes (even if you don't buy their meal kits). They are almost always delicious, and pretty easy to make.

Finding those magic recipes that everyone in the house will eat is definitely a challenge! Something I've been trying to do lately is just take different spins on things I know my family will eat.

Pizza - change up toppings, try new salads as a side
Tacos - maybe change to bowls or soft tortillas
Spaghetti - turn it into soup! It is so good. I can post the recipe if people are interested.
Otherwise, I just do a meat, veggie, and carb for a meal and just cycle through what I know people will eat and introduce a new flavor here and there.

I recommend Ina Garten’s panko-encrusted salmon. Simple & delish!

I've been making the basic fried rice recipe from Gimme Some Oven - both DH and DS like it, but DD will only eat plain rice. I've also been making the prosciutto wrapped pork tenderloin from Barefoot Contessa. It sounds fancy but is super simple, comes together quickly, and cooks in 30 minutes. Everyone loves it.

Have you ever considered a meal planning service? I have used cooksmarts for a few years and I love it. Every Thursday they release the menu for the following week and I don’t have to think about what to make :-) Added bonus if that there is a lot of variety and it makes me cook things I would not have tried otherwise

@pachamama: we always have the Trader Joe’s mandarin chicken in our freezer! And frozen broccoli to go with it! And we make pizza almost every Friday night, it’s such a simple hit for all of us. We serve it with a ton of cut up veggies.

These have been a huge hit lately: https://www.skinnytaste.com/cheeseburger-crunch-wrap/

We have salads a lot but DD doesn't always eat them as an assembled salad. We made tortellini salads last week - cooked tortellini, baby spinach, shredded carrots, sliced cucumbers, red onions, mini pepperoni, shredded cheese (if wanted), and dressing of choice. Easy to prep ahead of time and assemble, easy to customize sizes for each of us, and DD can have hers deconstructed.

We just try to mix up the veggies, proteins, and dressings to make salads more interesting.

Tacos/taco salads are always good. Another that everyone can customize and DD can have hers as individual items.

DD loves quinoa casseroles, these are her two favorites: https://www.skinnytaste.com/quinoa-fiesta-enchilada-bake/?fbclid=IwAR3aXKkGm0iqVoEy-NTNa9dN75iOfFF88E7AB2CcOHv4Eae_6E3oF9h9Ruk

We had buffalo chicken salads this week..happy to get out of soup season and into salad season. I like doing pulled chicken sliders in the crockpot for busy nights, and I made this beef (https://pinchofyum.com/instant-pot-korean-beef-tacos) and eat it either in taco form like the recipe or I do beef bowls.

ETA: My kids eat basically none of the real food I cook, with the exception of the chicken sliders

I'm so jealous your family will eat salads! My youngest would scoff at the idea! We are also in a rut but with sports starting and ruining our week, we have to be. We're still in the sandwiches, tacos, pasta, breakfast for dinner, pull something I batch cooked awhile ago out of the freezer, order out on Friday night rut.

Happy the weather is warming up and we'll do a lot more grilling! DH and I are trying to change our eating habits so I think we'll do a lot more grilled meats with salad or other veg while providing the kids some other carb on the side.

Sorry, I'm not a help but will be following for ideas!

I feel like we are in a rut and need some new dinner ideas. We did homemade cobb salads this week and that was a big hit. What has your family been loving lately?
