I'm not at all a New England bee (I live in Montana), but I went to college in Vermont, too, and loved it!

@jennlin821: well, you know we moved back to Maine this summer! I was mostly raised in Portland, spent a year in MA with both parents and then split time between both states for a couple of years after my parents separated, but then was in Portland again full time. DH grew up in Buxton. We both went to college in Maine and got married in Maine. We moved for DH's job - one year in NH and then five years in MA.
We are so happy to be back! We are just outside of Portland now!

Congrats on your house! So exciting, but I know it felt weird for us to officially put roots down. When do you move?

Hello Everyone!

We finally bought a house, so after years of being moving cross country and living in transition, we have set down roots! Granted we still haven't moved in yet, so its still doesn't feel real, but I can feel that I will feel more settled soon  .

I know that there are lots of New England Bees on here, but I'm not sure exactly where you all are. I grew up just south of Boston, went to college in northern VT, got married in NH, best friend lives in CT, and we just bought our house in ME. I guess you could say I'm a true new Englander!

Anyways, life has been so overwhelming, and I'm starting to build a friend/parent group again so I just wanted something a little light to help me through this last little bit of settling in.

Happy Friday everyone!
