Now we added a feature that lets you close your own threads directly - just click the link that says CLOSE TOPIC, and you should be all set.</p> <p>One of the concerns expressed earlier (and a reason we’ve waited to build this) is that there's a chance that this feature might be abused. But we’re all adults here, and thread closings haven’t been a big issue so far - and enabling self-deletions has been a big success.</p> <p>So we’re going to go ahead and enable self-closing - and to prevent abuse, we’ll also keep track of the number of closes that each person uses. If the features starts to get abused, then we’ll look into building in some sort of limit. </p>
