There are a few reasons Apple's deal is better. You get an unlocked phone and apple care for $5 more a month than what your wireless carrier payment plan would charge. I, also, had some other issues and most recently it became unusable. It was a heavy brick for the last two days since I tried restoring it and couldn't get activated or use my wifi. </p> <p>I took it to the apple store and luckily, I completely forgot I got the apple care plus and they were able to replace it with a new 6.
