We had a rash with the new ones. It seems like they don't neutralize or absorb pee/poop well or something. She can be in a wet pampers for an hour in her stroller if we are out and about no problem, but in the target dipe? Rash.
The rest of the pack has been deemed "in case of emergency" diapers.

I haven't had issues with the new ones, they have been fine for us so far. But I wanted to mention that I once got a bad box of the old ones (same issue of severe diaper rash) and I took the half full box back to Target and I was able to return it with no hassles.

We are about a week and a half into the new Target diapers and DD has a super bad eczema breakout at the waistband of her diaper. But we also turned on the furnace about that time and her she has been leaking through to pajamas so I am hoping it is one of those causing the breakout.

@littlebug: we had that exact issue with the old target diapers. My oldest was a bit older, 2, so I chalked it up to stronger toddler pee. The final straw for me was when I took off her diaper for bath and she had a blistering red chemical like burn exactly in the pattern of the diaper. They took the remainder of the package back for a full refund. Haven't used them since

Her rash just got angrier and angrier, to the point where diaper changes were absolute torture. Her diaper area was bright red and inflamed and she just screamed bloody murder during diaper changes. I put her in a cloth diaper when we got home from daycare and slathered her up with Calmoseptine (I know it's not CD safe but I put in 2 liners and kind of don't care). We skipped bath (because bath the night before lasted about 15 seconds due to her screaming in pain), I reapplied the Calmoseptine, and put her in another cloth diaper. I ran out to Target last night and got 7th Generation diapers and Huggies sensitive wipes. This morning it looked a little bit better and she didn't scream during the diaper change. So I'm definitely feeling like it's the diapers. SUCKS because I loved those for the price, Cartwheel deals...ugh.

ETA: @Iced Tea: Yes, I also noticed more crystals with these than with the previous ones. I'm super bummed.

We bought a couple of boxes of the new ones. From this first box, almost every diaper is leaving a bunch of those absorbent crystals on her skin.

I don't know if it's just a bad batch or if all the new ones will be this way. I'm reluctant to open the second box. If it has the same issue, then I waste money. But if it was just a bad batch, and I don't open anymore, then I switch for nothing. Ugh.

hmmm, thanks for the warning. We stocked up during the last sale, but haven't opened any of the new boxes yet. I was hopeful that it was just a pattern change, but am bummed that they changed the diaper itself. We're on our last box of 'old' ones, so we'll be switching over soon - I'll keep an eye out for extra rashes....

I like them. They are softer and less bulky. My baby has a flat bottom so she does not fill them out at all.

No issues here. Shortly before the change, our younger LO developed a yeast rash that has come and gone several times, though. No relation to the diapers.

Yes! We are having the same issue. Thank you for posting as I just put together the change in diapers with the fact that my daughter has had on and off diaper rashes since the change! I thought it was due to us giving her bubbles in her bath occasionally, but we always have her shower after to make sure all the soap is off so I was at a loss as to what was causing it. I am bummed they changed their diapers!! I liked the old ones. We have had some overnight leaks with the new ones as well. I have 1 giant box left and then I guess we will be trying out some other brands :bummed:

Target changed their diapers about a month or so ago, and initially I thought I liked the change - they are a little softer than the old ones, which I always thought felt kind of papery. But A has had on and off diaper rash over the past few weeks and I'm starting to wonder if she's reacting to something in the new diapers. Has anyone else had any issues with them since they changed?
