@LindsayInNY: The only thing different was I slept all night with out waking. I usually only get a small amount of ewcm for 1 day. I just need to come to terms with this cycle just being an odd ball. I didn't even think that I may not O until a fellow friend who is also ttc suggested that maybe I don't at all. Which of course freaked me out. But I will continue and see what the next chart holds for me

@deettc: With the exception of CD26 (the major temp drop), I would think you Oed on CD23. Was there anything that would've caused the temp drop on CD26 (sleep changes, etc.)? Sometimes it just happens though. If you excluded that temp from your chart, FF might change your O date. It's also possible you Oed after CD20 but don't know since you stopped OPKs. Do you typically get multiple days of W/EW CM? I would try not to stress too much this cycle. Keep temping and next cycle's chart will probably be easier to read!

(Also, if you click reply by someone's name, it'll fill in the reply box with their user name so they're sent an email notification! You can also manually do it, but make sure you put a color (:) after the persons name so the system emails them!)

@deettc: It's hard to tell when you start charting/temping mid-cycle. Typically, there is a sustained temp rise post-O. There may be a little drop halfway through or so but it'll rise back up the next day. Overall, temperatures still remain above the coverline.

Thanks your you imput. I have been trying to share my chart from my phone with no luck, but I will try from my computer when I get home. My Temps were low for 5 days high for 2 low for 1 day then high last 3 days. Each high day have been night waking. Quick history this last year opk are always + at between cd 14 - 16 and usually get ewcm around same time and af shows her ugly face on cd 31 like clock work. I am now on cd 29 and expect her on Sunday ( or not due to the lack of crazy pms symptoms I always get. Which makes me fear I didn't ovulate at all) but in any case I'll get my chart up asap. Thanks ladies!

Has the temp stayed up after it "spiked" or does it keep going up and down? Can you share your chart here? FWIW, I never found waking up in the middle of the night to affect the accuracy of my chart.

@deettc: It definitely doesn't mean charting won't work for you. Unfortunately, you probably won't see a pattern for your temps until after you ovulate. Even then, it will still be a few cycles before you get a feel for what's normal for you. Everyone's bbt ranges so there's no way to tell what's your normal range or pattern. Fertility Friend has some great tutorials. Based on what you said my guess is you either didn't ovulate yet OR you ovulated before you started temping. My hunch is the first one since there wasn't a positive opk and your temp is jumping around. That's what mine does when I haven't ovulated. But I'm really not an expert.

Hi everyone,
I have been following these boards for months and must say I think you all have kept me from going crazy while ttc. I desided that next month I would start temping since this month this cycle has been way different then any other cycle (been actively ttc for 3 year just dignosed with stage 4 endo and had lap done in July. Dr gave the ok to try again in Aug) So this cycle I never got a +opk I have 3 days of brown spotting cd15 -17 and never once has my bb been sore (usually to sore to touch from dpo 1 till af arrives) so I went by cvs got a bbt and figured what the heck I just start now so cd 19 - 23 Temps range from 97.56 to 97.86 then a spike to 98.49... this pattern has been continuing since. I always temp at 6 after 4+ hours of sleep. What I realized today is the days my Temps are higher are the nights I woke up between midnight and 1 and use the bathroom. I always fall right back to sleep. Does this mean that temping is not going to work for me? Is there something I should be doing different?
