@Silva: we would just put her down when she started acting super tired. There were nights that she was asleep before 6, with 2 day time naps!! It's evened out to 6:30 now that she's more steady on her feet. It was a nerve wracking time though, she fell a lot and we had a couple bumps and bruises, I felt so bad for her.

@MrsRoo: maybe I need to bump her bedtime even earlier! She already goes down at 6:30, which is 30 min earlier than usual!

K did this when she started. Her bedtime shifted from 8pm to 6:30 and it helped with the exhaustion. She's been walking for 2 months and only gets tired like that now after an abnormally busy day.

I know with Xander, I can tell that he's tired because he'll just start falling down a bunch! He'll keep getting up and trying to walk, but usually won't get very far, haha. And another woman at my daycare was saying the same thing about her son - she can tell he's tired when he's falling over. So I think it's normal!

We had this slightly, but it seems normal to be tired after practicing a new skill all day! I imagine I'd be tired and wobbly too after that, ya know?

My daughter started walking about 1 and a half weeks ago. Its all she wants to do all day long. But she seems extra tired by the end of the day- very cranky, begging for food but not eating it, etc. I know that the crankiness could just be a stage or who knows what---
but, after her bath until bedtime she is so exhausted she can't stand up. Like, she will try and just jello leg. She gets really hyper and frantically tries to stand and walk, but just falls over immediately. She keeps getting hurt!

Poor babe! Will this go away soon? Did you notice this when your LO first started walking?
