I asked the same thing a while ago so not a crazy question! In the end I decided to launder everything I possibly could.

We are getting so many new (and new to us) items with fabric parts--RnP, PnP, bouncer, strollers, carseats, etc. Anything that is used we are taking off what we can and washing it. For brand new gear (like the RnP, snuggabunny bouncer, etc.) are you supposed to wash these before you put a new baby in it? I mean, they are new, but is it advised to launder before? Is this a crazy question?
