We have had better luck with Elecare. If you do try it don't mix it with BM. Learned the hard way that doing so actually makes it taste super awful. Very strange!

My son would only drink nutramigen if it was very, very warm. Almost too hot. You aren't supposed to warm nutramigen at all, but maybe try starting with a very warm bottle and if it works you can always wean the temperature down.

Are there any donor banks near you where you could get MSPI donor milk to help you transition slowly?

Also yes, as Applesandbananas said, we did resort to feeding our daughter while she was sleeping but I wouldn't do that unless it was a last resort like... you're worried she will be dehydrated if you don't. If you do opt to do that, the best time I found was about 2-5 min after she first drifted off or about 30 min into sleep at the end of her first sleep cycle. Usually I'd just hold her and rock to sleep then pop a bottle in and she'd suck it down no problems. But that is a really hard way to live, having to put your kid to sleep every time they need to eat, so it's not really something I recommend.

I'm so sorry. I know more about allimentum but I'd make small bottles and try one cold, room temp and warm to see if that makes a difference. I know with allimentum some kids like the ready to feed better.

I was going to suggest mixing it with bm and transitioning her slowly but it sounds like you maybe don't make enough. Have you tried warming it? Mine took it MUCH better warm. You could also try allimentum but I don't think that tastes much better.

@MrsH: no advice, just hugs <3 I think @mae was able to get her daughter to eat while sleeping.

Would it be possible to mix with an ounce of pumped milk? I'd be hesitant but maybe it's worth a shot?

Does your pedi have any advice?

Just posting this makes me cry :(

I have super low supply (like three to five ounces a day) in addition to other latch issues so solely BFing isn't going to work. A needs to be on hypoallergenic formula and she cries/screams/fusses while drinking it and basically acts like it is awful or flat out refuses to drink it.

Help?!?
