My daughter has never been a good napper. She is 6 months and we've seen no improvement. She has always taken very short naps of only 30 minutes in length. It kind of sucks, but I got used to it after a while. She sleeps well at night, and that's the most important thing. Things that do help us are white noise, a pacifier, and motion, motion, motion. Rocking, walking, or taking a drive in the car always work great to get her to sleep. (Unfortunately, she still always wakes up 30 minutes later though!)

motion helped, as did white noise and being held during naps. my kids weren't terrible nappers, but they improved a lot around 3/4 months.

Did your new born nap well? At how many weeks did they start or stop napping? Did you find anything that helped them nap?
