To get a true "newborn" photographer, it seems the prices are at least $200 for sitting fee and a minimum of $200 in prints order. </p> <p>I was just going to go with my friend who is more of a family photographer, she doesn't just specialize in infants, and she charges $375 for everything including all the digital images. </p> <p> In the end I ended up booking a newborn photographer, my mom offered to pay half. The hard thing for me to swallow is AFTER the $400 is paid, you can buy each digital image for $100 each! Yikes! We got married in another town, so I can't use the same photographer. I did email our wedding photographer, love her and wish we could use her but she is 4 hours away, and asked if she has any recommendations for someone in Atlanta. She gave me the name of someone. I really liked her work. Well I just got back her quote, $300 for the sitting and then $350 for the disc of images. That seems like a lot. I would want the disc of pictures, but $750 for both! I guess I need to look some more. Just so overwhelming all the choices in Atlanta. </p> <p>What did everyone else pay? </p>
