I kind of went middle of the road, leaning towards the pricier end of photographers. Our package was discounted but still over $800. DH didn't really think they were necessary, but once we got them I can say with 100% confidence there are no regrets! I might have wished to even try and book another day to get more pics because K was kind of fussy. The pictures are priceless to me because we can never go back in time to get them again.</p> <p>P.s. our photog friend came over also to take pics, but she doesn't specialize in the kind of newborn pics I wanted and it was totally apparent when she was shooting. That seems so high to me! Is that normal?</p> <p>On the other hand, I have an acquaintance who does newborn photography. She is much, much cheaper but her quality isn't as good as the expensive photographers. She's good, but not great. </p> <p>I'm not sure which route to take and I need to book soon.
