I would use lots of aquaphor before putting him down, and didn't notice any diaper rash issues. </p> <p>When he was that small he hated diaper changes so much that he would get too upset to fall back asleep. Now he loves getting his diaper changed so much that it riles him up as play time. My LO started sleeping long stretches at 8 weeks until 4.5 months, so we stopped changing because she wasn't waking up.
