My milk didn't come in for several days and the baby was inconsolable off an on. He'd exhaust himself and fall asleep for a few minutes and then wake up screaming and screaming until we supplemented after BFing with formula. I think it really helps some of the worry when people feel pressured to supplement because baby "isn't getting enough".
