We are the same person

I have a two year old daughter as well and recently started clomid last week to TTC #2. Clomid worked for me with DD, following a D&C. I also ovulate on my own but the Clomid gives me that extra boost that will hopoefully work again!

I was put on clomid following two MCs in a year. Even though ovulation is very much not my problem they said that it could help improve hormone levels, even though all my bloodwork came back fine. My doctor also put me on a progesterone cream following ovulation that would be taken throughout the first trimester, if successful. I took clomid for two months and am now taking a break from the clomid as it gave me terrible side effects and I felt like I was taking a step backwards.

I know there are a lot of other ladies who have had success with clomid and/or progesterone. I think some ladies also try acupuncture, which I probably will do if nothing happens within the next couple months.

Hello - I just wanted to get some outside opinions. We have been trying for over a year. My OB does RE work as well (or at least that is how it seems), so she has been involved in the whole process. In early September, I had an HCG and everything was clear, had the progesterone blood test after ovulation and that looked good, and husband had a SA, which was in the normal range. AF just showed up last night, so unfortunately, I'm off to another cycle. The RE nurse is going to consult with my Dr to see what the next steps should be and asked if the Dr has talked to me about Clomid. If I'm ovulating normally, will this be of any help? Any other ideas?

A little background - we have a 2 year old daughter and I got pregnant almost immediately with her after a hysteroscopy and D&C to look for cysts in my uterus. There were none, but it has the same effect as the HCG (which some people think make you more fertile).

Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks, ladies!
