My old doctor before we moved (who helped us immensely with TTC #1) was so much more helpful and involved, so that's been difficult to switch to now two different practices who are basically saying - but you're getting pregnant so we're not going to worry for now. I'm hoping after our conversation tomorrow, he will send me for something. Or maybe I'll look into the naturopath as well.<br /> @jaguar: it's always been just prometrium suppositories or oral progesterone. I ended up seeing a naturopath who looked at my history and tested me for various clotting disorders (autoimmune) based on knowing I have Hashimoto's. I was one of the lucky few who found answers, but most don't unfortunately. </p> <p>If you're up for it, find a provider that cares and is willing to test you for anything and everything that could be causing issues. I don't believe in "unexplained" IF or RPL. So much so that I was kind of convinced I was pregnant. So I think it's worth it for sure.</p> <p>When I took progesterone suppositories (Crinone) I was instructed to take them at 2 dpo and until I did a beta to give extra support before any potential implantation occurred. My REs office prescribes progesterone supplements to be started the day after ovulation. I hated the inserts and she said I could wait till 7dpo to test progesterone, but if it was low, it would already be too late to start taking it, so I think 10dpo is definitely too late to help too. The purpose of Clomid is not really to raise your progesterone but to help with ovulation, possibly to produce multiple follicles. It sounds like you need progesterone supplementation and if RPL testing shows anything, additional help there. This was my third loss in a row and within 7 months. When TTC for DD, I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility, possible progesterone deficiency and conceived DD on second round of 100 mg clomid. TTC #2 has resulted in getting pregnant very easily but a blighted ovum (progesterone level = 10), a miscarriage at 8-9 weeks most likely due to chromosomal abnormalities (progesterone = 6 and prescribed meds), and now a chemical pregnancy (progesterone = 11 at 10dpo and prescribed meds).<br /> My doctor thinks that all have been so different that there isn't any intervention really necessary. However he does believe that all 3 may be progesterone related but the meds aren't really helping sustain a pregnancy. Do you think it's worth trying clomid to help with my progesterone levels? Any other next steps you might suggest talking with the doctor about? </p>
