We sometimes use a fun colored ice cube tray and fill it with different things we want him to try and he enjoys it. I can't do it too often though, cause then he catches on and will only pick out the things he wants. (DS is 25 months)

Sadly I have no advice, as our 21m old doesn't even eat the things you listed! Picky eating is the WORST! Following for suggestions.

DD is 26 months old and getting pickier by the day. She does okay with breakfast / lunch because she eats them at daycare around other kids, but she still eats the same thing every day.

For dinner she is usually super tired and cranky and will not even touch anything except for what "she wants" - which is either mac & cheese, pasta, or cheerios. If that is not what is served she just won't eat at all.

In an effort to try to get her to try more things, I'm thinking of doing a nibble tray type set up for dinner - does anyone have experience with this and an older toddler / did it help you?

We've watched the Daniel Tiger episode about new foods but she still just completely flips when we ask her to try something!
