I had the stomach flu the week I found out I was pregnant. Not that the stomach flu itself wasn't joyous, but the best part (sarcasm..) was how sore I was the week after. I ended up calling my OB because I was vomiting bile and very concerned about dehydration. She told me she thought it was time to head on in to the hospital. Lucky my hospital has an OB ER so I was able to get in right away to be seen. The doctors and nurses were really great and got me on IV fluids and Zofran. I was there for a few hours and then sent home to rest. My tummy is still feeling sore but I'm improving and thy sent me home with an RX for Zofran until I'm back to normal. My OB had me cancel my appointment with her for today so I wouldn't risk getting other pregnant ladies sick but I'll see her Monday to check in. Pregnancy is so glamorous. The only good part of the night was we got to hear baby's heartbeat... Nice and strong around 145. </p>
