It made me feel so good since I feel like such a chubby chiuaua this days.</p> <p>Meanest: nothing too rude lately. Except I do get told I look 15 or 16 every time I work. People say they would guess 18 at tops. I don't feel like I look that young. That really hurt, because I DO care (I wouldn't be a social worker if I didn't) and because I'd poured so much of my time and energy into her mother's case. I burst into tears and had to go for a walk around the block to calm down.</p> <p>Nicest: One of my coworkers told me that I look beautiful and that our son is going to be so lucky to have me for a mom. I went back to my office and cried. </p> <p>This all happened in the same day. For the record, I was 8 months pregnant when she said that and I'm a fairly thin/petite girl even when I was pregnant! I think she may have been joking, but it was poorly executed and not funny.</p> <p>The nicest is DH said that he thought I was a great mom to our LO. A man in his mid thirty came out carrying a birthday cake and holding what I assumed was his daughters hand says to me, " Your not handicapped your just fat". I politely explained to him that he was right, I am not handicapped but the individuals I care for are.
