Neither of them are good sleepers in any way, shape or form and I was never able to find a great solution in the early days with my son that didn't leak. The thirsties hemp have been great for us. When I was still using the MF inserts our 4.0s came with I would do regular MF, hemp, then newborn MF. I have since switched to bamboo and just do bamboo and hemp. Though for several months while LO was still BFing through the night and was peeing too much for the above combos I used an overnight disposable. Once we night weaned her overnight pee decreased and I wasn't willing to shell out the money on a million different combinations to try.
