@Coco Bee: I would die to have a baby like yours! My LO doesn't like to eat and he's at the 25% for weight and 50% for height.... 4-5 bottles of 3-5 oz, and then 2-3 solid meals a day which he'd eat anywhere from approx 1-4 oz. He's now 9 months.

For us he was pretty consistently waking up once, sometimes (rarely) twice, to nurse during 3-7 months. Then at around 7 months he just magically sleeps through the night and doesn't wake up anymore. I think it has to do with the solids introduction. We didn't do anything. Then after him doing that consistently for a few weeks, I don't feed him anymore even if he wakes up and cries in the middle of the night (which very seldomly happens). I'd give him 10-15 minutes before going in to see what's going on. He'd usually go back to sleep on his own. Good luck!

@Rubies: that's awesome!! DS was assuming the same pattern. At 6 months he started STTN 1-2x a week consistently and was only waking once all the other nights. It was truly amazing. But then we moved a month ago and now he wakes up a lot more (and is eating even more). I gave it time thinking he'd go back to his old pattern, but it hasn't changed, I'm tired of waking up at night lol

At around 8month, LO just naturally dropped to one night feeding from two. From 6-8 months, she would wake at midnight and then at 4am. From 8-10 months she had just one night feed at around 3am. I didn't do anything - just let her go through it. Then at 10 months, she magically stopped waking up!

My child is a food whore. no joke. He eats and eats and eats and is still such a peanut. idk where he puts it :P He eats three meals a day, just like DH and I and he eats nearly as much as I do - no joke (well except that I have more snacks throughout the day). PLUS he is still nursing 4-5 during the day and twice at night. At 8 months I am pretty sure he is getting way more than enough calories to drop at least ONE night feeding, am I right?!

So how did you guys get your LO to drop a feeding? Obviously I'd love DS to STTN again (he used to, then stopped when we moved), but I'd be happy to just drop it back to one night feeding. How did you guys do it?
