If it senses there is light in the room it will auto shut off. They auto turn off when there is light in the room but it has to be pretty bright. Not sure if a hallway would get bright enough for the lights to turn off. Any suggestions on where to find them? I'm hoping to find an LED nightlight so we can just leave it on all the time. </p>
