Thanks ladies! I think I will just let him adjust on his own and see how it goes :)

I'd say if he's only 8 weeks you probably have a little bit of time before he cuts out that feeding. We're just now able to cut it out at 5 months. This chart that someone posted in another thread has been helpful to me as far as figuring this stuff out. https://docs.google.com/document/d/11GHo4keUb2TVJUlSL1kD6HQcEgaNFBmzoQoOzcpcyas/edit?hl=en&authkey=CPXE1bsO&pli=1#

At this rate he may just do it on his own. I would not wake him up but do slowly increase what he is getting during the day. I did that and my LO started sleeping all the way at 8 weeks.

My 8 weeks old baby's schedule last night:

7:30 PM bedtime bottle (bed time is 8PM)
1:45 AM diaper change
3:15 AM feeding (lasted 8 hours!)
5:00 AM diaper change
7:00 AM feeding

He is sound asleep now.. probably will wake up around 8 AM...

Q- How do I eliminate/move his 3AM feeding?

I thought of waking him up around midnight to feed him and hope that he would last till wake time but I am afraid he won't feed since he is just soo sleepy

I also plan on increasing his milk intake through out the day to see if that would help

Should I just wait it out and perhaps he would just last even longer than 8 hours? Is that even possible for his age? He weights about 13lbs

Any suggestions??
