I really just used it as a shopping list for us, but a couple of people asked if we had one so I directed them to it. </p> <p>By the time they asked, though, there was hardly anything left on it. (For example at Buy Buy Baby you get 20% off everything on your registry, I think, instead of having to use their single item 20% off coupons). I am trying to decide if or when I should register in light of not doing a shower. </p> <p>I really don't want to come off as gift grabby and I am very thankful that due to some very generous hand me downs and offers to borrow gear that we need very little although there are certainly some things we need. There are some people who will buy gifts regardless but I don't know if I should leave them to their own devices. Honestly, I am a little sad about the idea of having a registry that just forever sits unused by anyone. I am 19 weeks now and we already know the sex of the baby. Any thoughts? </p>
