But if I want to know I just call anyway to double check. Sometimes you just never know! My friend's new puppy had a parasite that was contagious and his file fell off their table between a crack and her puppy had played with my dog which means my dog could have contracted that parasite as well! Every test/exam/blood draw/prescription/health diagnosis is available for me to look at 24/7 via their online secure site. And anytime a new result is posted, I get an automated phone call and an e-mail. There is no way I'd be able to not call, if I hadn't heard anything. I'm sure no news is good news, but no news could also mean "oh hey, I lost your paperwork"...so I'd call. YAY! </p> <p>(This is the common practice at my doc's office)</p> <p>But, of course, a part of me just wants to call and confirm!</p> <p>I did ok with the "no call is good news" rule with all of our other blood tests/genetic screenings; but this one is a stickler! I guess I"ll just get the confirm next week at my checkup~</p> <p>Was this the general rule with your doc or mw? </p>
