Their toddler book is even better, and you are getting closer to that stage than the infant one. I found it at a used bookstore for super cheap!

I just recently read NCSS. We swaddled JM for 5.5 months, and then he started rolling over in it and we had to go cold turkey. He was getting up anywhere from 10-12 times a night. I wasn't comfortable with CIO so we gave this a try..... and after 2 weeks of following Pantley's plan, we weren't making very much progress. So we ended up going with "The Sleep Lady," which requires a little CIO but you are in the room with them and can comfort them. It worked for us, but LO is still getting up once a night to nurse. But that's mainly because I'm not comfortable taking that feed away yet.

@Smurfette: do you live in Canada or US? If in US, I am guessing the shipping might not be worth it...

I have the book. I bought from someone on here, I can't remember who. We ended up doing CIO because I couldn't handle the 5-6 wake ups a night anymore.

The book was good. I think some methods would have worked it would have just taken a long time.

I can mail you the book if you would like. Just write your address on my wall. I won't be able to mail it till this weekend though.

L is 8 months old. His sleep goes thru phases of really good and really bad sleep! Although we are in a good phase now, i am wondering if this book is still worth buying. Right now i either nurse him to sleep, but more frequently I put him in his crib awake after nursing and have to hold his arms down to keep him from rolling over and then he falls asleep anywhere from 5 - 15+ minutes. I don't mind this when it is 5 minutes, but standing hunched over his crib for over 15 minutes sometimes is no fun for my back! So I am still looking for easier ways to get him to fall asleep on his own! If I don't hold his arms down, he rolls onto his tummy and starts giggling and crawling around his crib.

Is the book worth it? He is down to an average of one night nursing session which I don't mind (I wish I could choose the time of this session since it varies greatly, but I can't be too picky, haha).
