I have BCBS Texas and the only DME I could find with pumps in stock only had the Ameda Purely Yours double electric. It was covered 100%, though, and came with the pump, a shoulder bag, all pump parts, a cooler, 3 ice packs and 6 storage bottles. I ordered mine through Sterling Medical Services. The phone number is (888) 202-5700. They didn't even ask my due date. </p> <p>@grizz: Same thing happened to me. I called BCBS in Feb and they said they would only cover a manual. It was the biggest PITA to get it though.. I live in San Jose.. super populated area.. and the closest provider was in Santa Cruz (40 min. away)! The distributor didn't want to give me the pump even though BCBS said they they had to.. You just need a prescription from your OB, and you can pick it up at participating locations (they give you a list). When I asked my OB about it, she said that there are reps that are in the labor wing that will just drop one off for me as the script will be in my charts.
