@chopsuey119: @BabyBoecksMom: Hmm... well then sample size of 2 says that eating spicy food while pregnant can mean that baby is ok with spicy food once she's born. Lol. That was a very non-scientific experiment. Watch my baby be super sensitive to spicy foods, which will make me so sad.

I actually didn't eat any spicy food when I was pregnant - I really didn't want it at all.

It stinks because my hubby cooks dinner almost every night and he's going to have to make his food bland too (or just add the spices to his food after he's done).

Oh well... sacrifices! haha

@skibobrown: I ate spicy food like crazy when I was pregnant and I still eat lots of spice. I think it just depends on the baby..?
I've given my LO tastes of spicy food and so far so good.

Oh no! Sorry about that. This is a major concern of mine, since I love heavily spiced, and spicy, foods. Did you eat spicy foods during pregnancy? I was hoping that would somehow de-sensitize baby to spicy foods, but I'm guessing it doesn't really work that way...

So it looks like LO has a senstivity to spicy food... even food with a tiny bit of spice to it :-(

Every time I have something with a little spice to it, about 6-8 hours later, she's screaming and miserable. I guess I have to start making my diet a little more bland. I don't mind, if it makes her tummy hurt less.
