I'm almost 36 weeks and nothing seems nearly as important as me thinking about her, what L&amp;D will be like, when she'll get here, etc. I have like zero sense of urgency about work stuff, but I'll think of something baby-related, like needing an extra bassinet sheet, and it has to happen RIGHT NOW! All I care about is my LO getting here. All I wanted to do was cuddle with my baby all day long, take walks together, play with him, make dinner...basically I wanted to be a SAHM. So when it was time to go back to work after my maternity leave, I was so sad and depressed. I was contemplating quitting my job or working part time. But we had just purchased our first home and we needed the extra income. Ever since then (2 1/2 years ago!) I've lost all of my motivation to work. I used to be so career-driven and ambitious before my LO. But now, I find it so hard to motivate myself to work hard. It just feels like everything pales in comparison to spending precious time with my kids.</p> <p>So here I am at work, completely unmotivated and I don't know how to get my work mojo back!</p> <p>Anyone else feel like less motivated at work after baby? </p>
